The Historic City
Xi'an, known as Chang'an, is located in the middle and western part of China and is the capital of Shaanxi Province. After 13 dynasties rise and fall of the city, it seems like a great museum. Whether it is one of the eight wonders of the world: the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the Ancient City Wall, or the Big Wild Goose Pagoda that used to contain the Tianzhu Scriptures, a brick left by the ancients reveal the historical foundation.
Since ancient times, Xi'an has a lot of famous chefs serving dignitaries. It has been passed down through inheritance and formed a unique northwest flavor. The most representative food here is a variety of snacks, 'Rou Jia Mo' (marinated meat in baked bun), ‘Liang Pi' (cold rice noodle), mutton bread in the soup, Saozi noodles (scallop noodles). From morning till night, tourists all over the world and local people enjoy the taste of Xi'an in many century-old time-honored brands and the new snack bars.
The West Huashan
Located 120 km east of Xi'an, Huashan is known as "the first mountain of the adventure". Huashan usually traced in ancient and modern literati poetry. The rocks are axe and the ladder is almost vertical. Having said so, 'Once you the decision to climb the Mount Huashan, there was no way turning back'. Starting from Xi'an, with 1-2 days, you can experience the precipitous and steep rise of Huashan.
The long history has created a source of humanity. Xi'an's folk art is also a non-material cultural heritage. Under the wall, there are the Qin Cavities Chambers organized by the old men. March to September and September to November
March - May: Xi'an is warm, dry and sunny in spring. It coincides with the flowering period. Qinglong Temple and Xi'an Jiaotong University are popular flower viewing areas. They mainly watch cherry blossoms and peach blossoms; Xingqing Park and Daming Palace National Heritage Park are full of flowers and sometimes can see folk performances.
September - November: Xi'an is cool and pleasant in autumn, and it is dyed gold everywhere. The Big and Small Wild Goose Pagodas are completely stained with forests, oranges, yellows, and greens overlap; the ancient Guanyin Temple and Daci'en Temple can enjoy the ancient Ginkgo biloba; the Bell Tower, Nanbei Avenue, is full of sweet-scented blossoms. Bring an umbrella for the arrival of autumn rain.
【Suggested Days of Stay】
4 - 5 Days. Xi'an's downtown attractions, such as the ancient city wall, the Bell Tower, and the Huimin Street, are relatively concentrated. Thanks to the city's subway and bus services, the city can be fully explored and tasted after 2-3 days.
On the outskirts of the Lishan, Huaqing Pool and Terracotta Warriors and Horses, you can get back and forth within one day by bus. If you plan to visit Huashan, it is recommended to set aside 1-2 days.
