Dear Passengers,

We regret to inform that Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX) has been closed due to extensive flooding and damage caused by Typhoon . Special arrangements on rebooking, rerouting and refund are as followed:

1.  Applicable Ticket Type

a)  all tickets issued for travel with Tianjin Airlines arriving to at and departing from Kansai Airport, irrespective of fare type or group ticket

b)  code share flights operating by Tianjin Airlines arriving to at and departing from Kansai Airport, irrespective of one-way, round-trip, open jaw, ADD-ON/SPA ticket

2.  Applicable Period

a)  Date of ticket issue: unlimited

b)  Date of travel: Sep. 30 

3.  Rules for Free Change or full refund

Full refund, free rerouting, and free rebooking are applicable for the passengers who booked the tickets arriving to or departing from Kansai Airport during the mentioned date.

Alternative flights for rerouting: Tianjin=Osaka, Tianjin=Tokyo

Applicable date period: on or before 07 October, 2018

Fees will be charged for changing ticket after the free change.  

Others

Rules are applicable to round-trip ticket if the outbound flight date or inbound flight date is within the required date.  For the round-trip ticket booked separately, if the outbound flight date or inbound flight date is within the required date, rules are also applicable.

Dear Tianjin Airlines passengers:

In order to alleviate the passengers stranded in Japan, Tianjin Airlines has deployed resources to carry out emergency aircraft type upgrading for Tokyo=Tianjin route.

The aircraft type of Tianjin Airlines’ Tokyo-Tianjin route will be adjusted to A330-200 on September 9th, Tianjin-Tokyo route will be adjusted to A330-200 on September and 8th. From September 10th to September 18th, the aircraft type will be adjusted to A330-300. During this period, around 900 seats will be added for flights departing from Japan. Specific schedule is as follows:

Flight GS7990 from Tokyo to Tianjin would be operated on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, taking off from Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND) at 01:30 (GMT+9) and arriving at Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) at 04:05 (GMT+8);

Flight GS7989 from Tianjin to Tokyo would be operated on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, taking off from Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN) at 20:10 (GMT+8) and arriving at Tokyo Haneda International Airport at 0:05 the next day (GMT+9).

According to the rules of Seoul Incheon International Airport, passengers are only allowed to take the following airlines for international transfer in ICN.  If your connecting flight has no transfer counter in ICN, you will not be carried by Tianjin Airlines. Please be noticed of this when you book the connecting flight tickets via ICN.

Due to adjustment of flight plan, flights operate between Tianjin and London via Chongqing by Tianjin Airlines (GS) will encounter airport change from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR), effective from 25th August, 2018.

Dear student passengers,

For the purpose of enjoying student tickets with free extra checked luggage (if applicable), you can contact our service hotline 86 10 95350 and provide scan of valid student documents after you book tickets for international fights and flights between the PRC and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan.

Tips:

1. All segments that open on the ticket are operated by Tianjin Airlines (GS) and the ticket number includes 826 at the beginning.

2. You need to provide the scan of your valid student document.

3. This service is not applicable if the cabin classes of your tickets are in G/J/S/O (group ticket/free ticket)

4. Free checked luggage policy applicable for student:

Flights between the PRC and Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom:2 pieces, each piece less than 23kg;

Flights between the PRC and Australia:3 pieces, each piece less than 23kg (for economy class); 3 pieces, each piece less than 32kg (for business class);

Considering the social responsibility, we provide free rebooking and refunding service for the affected passengers.
1. Applicable type of ticket: both group and individual tickets of flights between Tianjin and Osaka
2. Applicable ticketing date: before 00:00 June 18, 2018 (included)
3. Applicable flight date: 00:00, June 18, 2018 (included) to 24:00, June 19, 2018 (not included)
4. Rules:
During the validation of tickets, passengers who booked tickets that meet the requirement as mentioned above can apply to free refunding, or involuntary change to the flight on any date before 24:00, June 26, 2018 (included) for once. If you would like to change again, or to change to any date after June 26, 2018, your change will be processed as voluntary change.
5. Others: Passengers who booked tickets on our (domestic/global) website need to choose “Involuntary Change” and provide reasons of refunding when applying, so that our staff can check and provide service for you.

Dear Passengers:

Starting June 5, 2018 (ticket issue date), a fuel surcharge will be introduced for Tianjin Airlines domestic flights. The rates are as follows:

1. Adult passengers: 10 CNY per passenger for segments.

2. Children, disabled revolutionary veterans and former police officers disabled in the line of duty who are entitled to a 50% discount on the regular published fare as stipulated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, will be charged half of the fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be waived if the passenger’s total payable surcharge is less than 10 CNY. Example: if the current fuel surcharge for adult passengers is 10 CNY per passenger, then the fuel surcharge for children, disabled revolutionary veterans and former police officers disabled in the line of duty will be zero CNY per passenger (5 CNY rounded down).

3. Infants charged 10% of the regular published adult fare are exempt from the fuel surcharge.

4. The fuel surcharge is applied on the original ticket issuing date. If the ticket is exchanged, the fuel surcharge will not be refunded.

Other specific amounts are calculated based on the existing fare system.

Tianjin Airlines have cancelled the flights of Tianjin=Xian Auckland and their return flights from June 5 to October 27, 2018, due to plan adjustment. We sincerely apologize about disturbing your travel plan.

If you are unsatisfied with the two plans aforementioned, you can also book tickets in the equal class operated by other airlines within 7 days before or after of your planned travel date and you will be fully refunded through where you booked. Dear Fortune Wings Club member,

From July 1, 2017 Fortune Wings Club will officially change its rules regarding award point earning. From July 1, 2017, award points will be earned based on eligible spend and membership status instead of fare class and flight distance on Tianjin Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Capital Airlines, Fuzhou Airlines, Yangtze River Airlines and Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines flights.

Dear passengers:
As Galaxy Note 7 has problems such as abnormal heating, burning, etc., it is likely to trigger a fire. Until October 11, 20 incidents about overheating and burning of the phone have occurred in mainland China. Thus, to guarantee passenger safety and as required by CAAC, the Company prohibits air transport of Galaxy Note 7 with relevant contents listed as follows:
I. passengers are forbidden to carry Galaxy Note 7 along or include it in the carry-on baggage;
II. passengers are forbidden to include Galaxy Note 7 in checked baggage;
III. Galaxy Note 7 is forbidden to be collected or transported as air cargo.
Any violators will be dealt with seriously by public security bureau and civil aviation administrative organization based on actual conditions.
The announcement has been implemented since October 27, 2016.
